Dog Banners – Norwegian Elkhound

Since the natural hunting skills of the breed are not widely utilized outside Scandinavia, its main purpose in adoptive countries has been to serve as a family companion.

Their good sense and trainability make them ideal service dogs. Others have been invaluable as therapy dogs, working with children and adults.
